Kyle Mathews fresh off the victory now heads to Michigan for the next race hoping to build on this momentum and possibly close in on the points lead

The Vets show up to play

The opening practice session for the Hooters Series at Michigan was dominated by the veteran drivers evidenced by them sweeping the top 5 spots. Matt Dixon topped all drivers followed by Skye Commons, Jeff James, Cosmic Nova, and Charles Sandfer. Hometown hero Kris Wascher can be found down in the 15th position much higher than Ohio native Kyle Mathews.

The man from up north Jeff James was able to grab the pole in his Aarons Dodge for Michael Waltrip Racing. Sam Young will start alongside with Max Neuwirth and Kyle Collins in row 2 and Matt Dixon rolling off 5th.
