Nascar Xfinity Series 2016 Silly Season

Johnanna Long looking for a full time ride or a really good part time ride.

Joey Gase is going to return to Jimmy Means Racing with some possible new more sponsorship deals coming along with possibly some truck races.

Precision Performance Motorsports is going to be a part time ride as they put their focus on the K&N Pro East Series. Brandon Gdovic will be in the car for 6-8 races.

Also Elliott Sadler will be racing in the #1 car for Jr

Dakoda Armstrong will be racing the #28 for JGL Racing. This is big for JJ Yeley so does this mean he'll race full time in cup or move to another team? Another thing JGL put out their is that they will be going back to the #24 from the #26. This could mean a lot for Eric McClure. Will Eric move back to JGL? Will Eric go back to the #14 for Tri-Star? Or is Eric done racing?

More news it that Austin Theriault wants a ride in the Xfinity series after loosing his ride with BKR in the truck to Daniel Hemric. He had been looking for sponsors in the offseason to help him with this. He had a chance with Jr Motorsports in 2014 so this could help him with getting a ride but Jr is full. Where will he go?

Mark Thompson and Derek White will be racing in the #13 and #40 for Daytona. Josh Reaume, John Jackson, and Carl Long will be switching into those rides for the Motorsports Business Management

Also more news is that Joe Gibbs will change the #54 to the #18 and will be switched between various drivers. Now the #18 will be switching to the #19 so Suarez will being racing in the #19 Arris as the sponsor.

So I just found out that Brandon Jones will be in the #33 and Paul Menard will be a part time driver in the #2 car now with Brian Scott in the Cup Series. Both cars will be sponsored by Menards for a select few races. Richmond will be on the #2 car along with Menards. No words on it Dillon will be racing in the #2 or another car.

Ray Black Jr will be moving to the Xfinity Series full time after a breakout season with an underfunded team. He will be racing in with the same team, SS Green Light Racing, and with ScubaLife as his sponsor.

2014 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Champion Anthony Kumpen will be racing a part time schedule with Precision Performance Motorsports for Daytona. They will change from the #55 to the #46 with LeasePlan as the sponsor.

Morgan Shepard is coming back, as usual, and Townley will run plate races with Athenian.

JGR and Erik Jones have announced that his sponsors will be GameStop (12 races), Reser's Fine Foods (8 races) , Hisense (5 Races) and Interstate Batteries (Las Vegas). Hisense will also sponsor Denny Hamlin when he races in the 18 car.

Tristar will field 2 full time ride for 2016 which will be the #14 and the #44. Tristar parted was with Blake Koch as he will purcue his own options for 2016 in the #8 car.

Koch will be racing with the new full time team of Kaulig Racing which is in a technical allience with RCR and will be in the #11 car with Leaf Filter

Ross Chastain, Ryan Preece and Eric McClure have all confirmed their rides in the #4, #01, and #0 for JD Motorsports.

Eric McClure is doing a one off race at Daytona. Chris Knight, though, said that the 0 is Full Time and will have rotating drivers.

Just found it out and you are right but it seems like Harrison Rhodes will have a couple of races in the 0 car

Rick Ware Racing has announced for their 25th season, they will be racing 2 full time rides with the numbers 15 and 25. They will have a 3rd car that will be part time and that will be the #17 car. No Sponsors have been announced. They also hope to race a couple truck races.

Harrison Rhodes will be racing in the #97 car for Obaika Racing. Obaika Racing also said they will be fielding a second team but will most likely be part time.

B.J. McLeod Motorsports plans to run 2 full-time teams for the Xfinity Series. He plans to run Ford Mustangs with the numbers 78 and 99. B.J. McLeod himself plans to run the #78 car while the #99 will be rotating drivers throughout the season. No sponsors have been announced yet.

Kenny Habul could run road course races with Jr Motorsports instead of JGR in the #88 car.

REV Group joins Penske and the #22 team as a sponsor for 4 races.

Matt Tifft will be racing part time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the #18 car for 13 races. He is going to continue as the development driver for JGR as he completes college at UNC Charlotte. He will race:
Richmond, Dover, Iowa, Daytona, Loudon, Iowa, Mid-Ohio, Bristol, Road America, Kentucky, Charlotte, Texas, and Homestead.

There has been rumors that Jeb Burton will be going to Richard Petty Motorsports to replace Dakoda Armstrong. This is probably his best chance he has to get back into the Sprint Cup Series or else will become a one-shot wonder

Jacques Villeneuve has said he wanted to return to Nascar for a long time now and will be returning part-time for a newly formed team called Wing-Nut Racing. He will race in his the #27 Ford starting at Daytona.

Chris Fontaine will be the first guy to race in the newly formed #99 car for McLeod Motorsports with Glenden onboard.

Brennon Poole will now race outside of HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi now returning to the Xfinity Series as Poole will race full time in the #48 DC Solar Chevy.

Also Stanton Barrett will race in the #15 car with Chris Cockrum in the #25 car for Daytona.
